NZ universities have 2 intakes for students.
• Main Intakes – : February and September
• Other Intakes – : May, July, November

However ITPs and Private Institutes may have different Intakes for different courses. Practically there is an intake every month in some or the other institution resulting in recruitment throughout the year.

Deadlines:
There is no deadline as such in New Zealand but it is recommended to send applications at least 4 months prior to the start date to avoid end moment troubles.

Electrical Engineering: Electrical Engineering is the most preferred course in New Zealand for international students. The New Zealand universities offer technical courses at less tuition fees. Some of those universities are Queens Academic Group, Waikato Institute of Technology etc.

Civil Engineering: Civil Engineering in New Zealand is also one of the most preferred courses by international students. Otago Polytechnic, Waikato Institute of Technology, NorthTec, The Wellington Institute of Technology etc., are some universities that provide the degree at a cheaper tuition fee.
